John Leslie, an actor and director who appeared in more than 300 movies during the so-called golden age of pornographic films in the 1970s and ’80s, died on Sunday at his home in Mill Valley, Calif. He was 65. The cause was apparently a heart attack, said Mark Kernes, a friend and senior editor of the adult film publication AVN.

Mr. Leslie’s success in pornographic films started in the early 1970s, an era when plot-driven, feature-length movies like “Deep Throat” and “Behind the Green Door” achieved mainstream success. That period ended with the AIDS crisis in the 1980s.

Mr. Leslie, whose real name was John Nuzzo, appeared in such titles as “Cry for Cindy” and “Talk Dirty to Me,” the 1980 film that established him as one of pornography’s leading men. Mr. Kernes said Mr. Leslie was one of the first actors to cross over to directing, which he did successfully. “Being an actor at heart, he was more disposed to letting the performers take the lead in terms of executing the scene,” Mr. Kernes said. Mr. Leslie won pornography-industry awards for acting and directing, and was inducted into the Legends of Erotica Hall of Fame in Las Vegas. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Kathleen.

According to TMZ.com around her 18th birthday a video of Miley Cyrus and bong was filmed by a friend of hers. In the footage it is pretty clear that Miley is smoking something but was it the illegal drug marijuana? That would be a no, of course right. The smoke filled device was apparently full of natural herb called salvia.



The natural herb reportedly has psychedelic qualities which is probably why Cyrus seems to be giggling up a storm in the footage. In California it is ok to have salvia in your possession. I am not entirely sure I believe that it was not pot but since I am clueless when it comes to this kind of stuff I guess I will choose to believe it until it is proven otherwise.

If you are like me you are probably wondering why in the heck Miley would let someone take footage of her doing that. The story that is being told is that a friend of Cyrus’s filmed it then the friend’s person with the film in it was stolen. I still don’t understand why Miley would let someone film her she knows everything she does gets out into the media, which leads me to believe it is just another stunt of the singer’s to prove she is no longer a teeny bopper. That of course is just my two cents on the whole Miley Cyrus bong video. I want to know what you think so check out the footage below and give me your thoughts.

Salvia is a natural herb from the mint family with with psychedelic qualities – and it’s not against the law to possess it in California.
The source says that the video was taken by one of Miley’s friends, and people have been speculating that someone stole or copied the video from the camera. Either that, or it’s not really a “friend,” it’s just someone trying to use Miley to make some quick cash. It does seem strange that the woman holding the camera says, “You’re gonna shit a brick when you see this.”
No bricks shat over here…maybe if it were actual pot!

It is monstrously successful. Having just launched the her label only three years ago, 30-year-old Simpson is on track to break the $1billion mark in sales in the coming year. The $1billion estimate comes for next year, as the star will be releasing a new line of sportswear. However, this year alone has seen Simpson’s fashion label rake in a cool $750 million resulting from retail sales. Vince Camuto, Nine West fonder, lays claim to the master license of the Jessica Simpson Collection brand. He believes that it is the stars next-door girl attitude and a fantastic product that is driving the strong sales. He also believes that many look to Jessica as an icon of style. Simpson and her mother are the current acting creative directors for the collection, which was originally launched in 2007. Since that time the line has added to its clothing collection things such as footwear, luggage, accessories and a perfume. Also included in Simpson’s fashion lineup is her denim collection, which can be purchased in over 650 US department stores such as Dillard’s, Belk and Macy’s. It was at Dillard’s and Belks where Simpson once made an appearance promoting the line that drew a crowd of nearly 600 excited patrons. Adding to the Simpson’s cheer this year was a recent engagement to Eric Johnson, a NFL player.

Glee creator Ryan Murphy announced last week that the current cast’s characters will be graduating in 2012. But Lea Michele, who plays Rachel Berry, has a plan to stay on the hit Fox show after her character graduates, “Maybe I would come back as a teacher on Glee,” Lea, 24, told Hollywoodlife.com.
Though her future on the show is unclear, for now Michele is enjoying her time on the show which just scored two Grammy nominations for Best Pop Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals and Best Compilation Soundtrack Album For Motion Picture, Television Or Other Visual Media. She says, “We work really hard [on our music],” and calls her character and the show her “number one priority.”
Ryan Murphy plans to reinvent the show each year with a new crop of “gleeks” “Every year we’re going to populate a new group. There’s nothing more depressing than a high schooler with a bald spot.”

(HMG Gossip News) – Celebrities are known for their lavish lifestyles and that could not be more evident than in the cars that they drive. Often seen in top of the range vehicles they are the envy of many, especially when they are also able to carry out modifications to make the car more personal and better than any other on the road. However, just because they can afford the best does not necessarily mean that they have the ability to drive them well, or the discipline to be the designated driver on a night out. Within Hollywood there are continuous reports of stars being arrested for DUI and driving offenses and yet the constant streams of embarrassing mug shots never fail to raise a smile when the stars fall from grace.
One of the most entertaining stories to emerge in recent years is that of Mel Gibson and his subsequent fall from grace. On July 28th 2006 Gibson was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after being stopped for speeding in Malibu. This may not have made that many headlines if it hadn’t been for the infamous anti-Semitic remarks that Gibson made after the arrest. The tirade continued at the police station where he was videotaped asking a female officer “what are you looking at sugar tits?” Following the incident Gibson was banned from driving for 3 months and placed on probation for 3 years, but this was the least of his worries; his career has not been the same since.
In 2007 Paris Hilton was stopped by the Los Angeles County Sheriff for having no headlights on whilst speeding on Sunset Boulevard. Once she had been stopped the officer discovered that she had been driving on a suspended license. Hilton claimed that she had no knowledge of her license being suspended even though documentation she had signed confirming the suspension was in the glove compartment. Hilton’s license had been suspended after she plead ‘no contest’ to drink driving charges the year before, resulting in a fine and a driving ban. Following the incident Paris was sentenced to 45 days in jail and served 23 in Lynwood county facility.
Another young celebrity that has been caught out for driving offenses is Lindsey Lohan, who has been plagued by reports of drug and alcohol problems and is currently back in rehab. In October 2008 she was sued by three men who claimed that she had commandeered a vehicle in order to chase her assistant that she had recently fired. Police arrested her following the incident for drug charges and drink driving, and she served a grand total of 84 minutes in jail. Lohan was then jailed again this year for violating her probation for drug charges and pleading ‘no contest’ to three driving charges. It looks as though Lindsey’s problems are ongoing.
George Michael has been in the headlines recently for his driving after he ‘whammed’ into a Snappy Snap photography store in London earlier this year, having been found to be driving under the influence of drugs and in possession of cannabis. He was sentenced to eight weeks in jail, given a five year driving ban and fined £1250. This is not the first time that Michaels has found himself in a bit of bother whilst driving, in 2007 he was banned from driving for two years and given 100 hours of community service after Police discovered him slumped at the wheel of his Mercedes. Michaels was found guilty of being unfit for driving through “tiredness and taking prescription drugs”. When he was questioned about the incident he responded that “it was fairly predictable considering how much work I had done that week”. Well ,his actions mean he will need a driver for the next five years.
Looks like this trend within Hollywood is one that is set to continue.
