In a move that should give Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie some renewed motivation, Spanish singing star Julio Iglesias has finally married his girlfriend – after twenty years and five children together.
Julio, 66, and leggy Dutch model, Miranda Rijnsburger swapped vows at the ‘Virgen del Carmen’ church in the upscale resort of Marbella, a vibrant town with a glorious history that nestles on the south coast of Spain.
Reverend Roberto Rojo Aguado, one of three priests who conducted the ceremony, told Us the pair were married on Tuesday in a quiet, low-key ceremony attended by just two witnesses and the couple’s five children.
The new bride and groom have three sons and two daughters: Miguel, 13, Rodrigo, 11, and 3-year old Guillermo, plus twin girls Victoria and Cristina, aged 9.
This is the second marriage for the velvet-voiced Latin legend; In 1971 he married Filipino journalist Isabel Preysler, with whom he has three other children, Chabeli, Enrique and Julio Jr.
But the marriage to 59-year old Isabel was annulled in 1979. His new bride is just 45…

The star of Disney’s ‘Lizzie McGuire’ and former Edmonton Oilers star, Mike Comrie were married at sunset on Saturday evening in front of 100 guests, at a private estate in Santa Barbara owned by Michael Douglas’ ex-wife Diandra Luker.
The ceremony is said to have cost over $500,000.
The bride wore a long, strapless Vera Wang dress, with her hair gathered into a bun beneath an translucent veil. Mike took his place at her side in a tastefully tailored but traditional tuxedo. And Hilary had clear ideas for her gown;
‘I want it to be girlie but not too overwhelming, because I’m so small,’ she said. ‘I mean, people would be like, ‘Whoa, cupcake!”‘
She even hired wedding planner Mindy Weiss to run the whole thing, whose past clients include Jessica Simpson, Gwen Stefani and Adam Sandler. So you can see where the cash went!
‘It feels wonderful to be married,’ the star told friends once vows were exchanged. ‘It hasn’t fully sunk in yet.’
And though the couple’s use of a prenup caused her girlfriends concern, friends say the issue is minor;
“It was a totally amicable agreement,” an insider told the Post. “They love each other, and knew this was just a technicality.”
And there’s good reason to get one – While Hilary has made decent money from Disney, Mike is the heir to a Canadian retail business, ‘The Brick,’ And that makes him worth over $500-million.
But Mike is no skinflint – he bought his new wife a $100,000 Mercedes-Benz SUV for her 20th birthday, and when they got engaged in Hawaii in February the ring was said to worth around $1-million.
Despite this, Hilary claims money’s no issue, and says they share a ’surprisingly natural’ romance.
“We both have busy jobs, and we’re very focused people, so that helps,” she told reporters.
Mike seems to agree; “We both live such different lives, but it’s always fun to support each other and spend time when we get to,” he recently said.
But Hilary’s no dufus with money – She struck an exclusive deal with ‘OK Magazine’ to cover the ceremony. Price? $1 million…

 When Brittany Murphy died on December 20th many people thought something was strange. Well, there was more strange to come – According to new police reports, once Brittany was gone her husband, Simon Monjack and Brittany’s mom shared a bed.
The L.A. Coroner’s Office has just released their final report on Simon Monjack’s death from pneumonia and intoxication by various drugs on May 23rd. In it, investigators record a meeting with Brittany’s mom, Sharon Murphy.
Sharon was leading a detective from the LAPD  through the West Hollywood home the three of them shared. When they reached the master bedroom, Sharon identified one half as being ‘her side’ of the bed.
This was the same bed in which Simon slept.
According to TMZ, she also told the investigator that some of the pills he found on the nightstand – which had been prescribed to ‘Sharon Murphy’ and ‘Sharon Monjack’ – were also hers.
However, the report makes no suggestion that Sharon and her son-in-law ever shared any sexual contact.

  It looks Lindsay Lohan is going to be well compensated for the minor interruption she’s had with that boring incarceration she’s had to endure. As you know Lindsay was sent to jail for 90 days last month, but got out after less than two weeks.  If sources are to be believed, then Lindsay Lohan will be getting out of the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Hospital as early as this week. While Lohan’s doctors have not written their final report,  they supposedly have already concluded her psychiatric problems are not nearly as severe as first thought, reports TMZ.  It was earlier indicated that the Mean Girls star was bipolar but that proved not to be the case.  In addition, the doctors do not believe the drug dependency issues are as severe as first thought.  This despite the fact she has been in rehab reportedly 3 times before?
So for suffering through this horrible ordeal (sarcasm intended), the little train wreck is gonna be rewarded by giving interviews of her time in prison.  Enabling mother Dina has said Lindsay plans to head back to New York after rehab, where she could earn anywhere from $25,000-$100,000 per “appearance,” at clubs.  And word has been she was asking for a cool $1 million for that first post jail interview, and rumor is someone has stepped up to pay.  According to Hollywood Reporter, Lohan is likely to be handed $1 million by OK! Magazine for her first post-jail interview.

Hopefully not in the spirit of Levi Johnston and Bristol Meyer, there is reconciliation talk of another teen mother and her baby daddy. Jamie Lynn Spears and former boyfriend Casey Aldridge who split at the beginning of the year, “are working on things between them,” a source tells PEOPLE. Jamie Lynn and Casey called off their engagement in March of 2009, but have been hanging out at Britney’s home in Calabasas, California of late. They were also seen at a Lady Gaga concert with Britney Spears and her beau, Jason Trawick, on Wednesday night.

Mutli-talented entertainer Dr. Douglas “Doogie” Howser really known as Neil Patrick Harris who has a longtime gay partner, is about to become a father to twins.
E! Online reports that Harris and his chef partner of six years David Burtka will welcome the two new additions to their family in October, after visiting a surrogacy agency last year.
Once the news was broken, The Harold & Kumar actor later confirmed that the pair will become parents in a message on his Twitter page, saying: “So, get this: David and I are expecting twins this fall,” Harris revealed on Twitter. “We’re super excited/nervous/thrilled. Hoping the press can respect our privacy…”
The couple are set to celebrate with a baby shower ahead of their “beautiful” surrogate’s due date.
Harris who recently picked up three Emmy award nominations, including ones for his roles in How I Met Your Mother and Glee, will will also be hosting the ceremony, which takes place on August 29.

(HMG) – Reminding one of the days of old when the villagers worked themselves into a frenzy before setting upon the the monster, reality star Tila Tequila says that an angry mob kicked her ass and tried to kill her.  The angry mob (young fans) were gathered at a concert in Illinois, featuring music groups like the Insane Clown Posse and the Kottonmouth Kings.  And Tila was actually hired to perform, but the crowd immediately turned on her according to her account given to TMZ. The fans, mostly young people who sometimes wear clown make-up and are referred to as juggalos and juggalettes, immediately pelted her with rocks and bottles, cutting her face.

“I went onstage and immediately, before I even got on stage, dudes were throwing huge stone rocks in my face, beer bottles that slit my eye open, almost burnt my hair … cuz they threw firecrackers on stage,” she claims.

A witness, who was standing in the rear of the stage tells CNN:

“She was taunting them,” he said. “She didn’t know how to handle them. She didn’t understand the dynamic.”

Her bodyguards rushed her off the stage but a large mob chased and surrounded the trailer where she sought refuge. They rocked the trailer and smashed its windows. Tequila eventually escaped, but her SUV was also smashed up according to reports.
Tequila, posted a Twitter message Saturday, saying she would sue the festival, which is organized for fans of the hip-hop group Insane Clown Posse.
“Pretty soon, the owners who run the juggalos will be bankrupt,” she tweeted.
Tila has claimed a lot of crazy stuff in the past that I doubt, but this one I think really did happen, and she will probably make some serious cash once she sues!

(HMG) – In the sounds good, but we will believe it when we see it department, there is a new rumor spreading that Leonardo DiCaprio is getting ready to propose to long-term girlfriend Bar Refaeli.
A sources claims that the Inception star took his mother out shopping to pick out an engagement ring for the Israeli-born girlfriend of nearly five years.
“Leo has told his closest friend that his mom has been helping him pick out an engagement ring for Refaeli,” one snitch tells the National Enquirer. Leo is also supposedly planning to sell his Hollywood mansion and buy a house with Bar. He wants her to live with him in his bachelor pad, but she is not comfortable living there all the time. So is it finally a happy ending for Leo and Bar?

After a year of highs and lows, Forbes has dubbed Sandra Bullock Hollywood’s highest-paid actress. Her whopping $56 million income between June 2009 and June 2010 is due to the success of The Proposal and The Blind Side. She took reduced upfront pay in order to get a higher percentage of the profits. After adopting a baby and becoming a single mother due to a nasty divorce in the same year, it’s nice to see good things happen to her.
Cameron Diaz and Reese Witherspoon tied for second place at $32 million. While Reese Witherspoon is bringing in the big bucks from upfront pay from two new movies, Cameron Diaz is making a large chunk of her income from the Shrek Franchise and her recent romantic comedies. And Jennifer Aniston, who also gets a sizable amount of money from her past work on the Friends series, placed fourth on the list at $27 million. Sarah Jessica Parker place fifth with $25 million, which she got from both Sex and the City and the second Sex and the City movie, which just came out this year.
The actresses often make money from other sources, as well. Reese Witherspoon makes a fair amount from representing Avon, and Jennifer Aniston recently opened her own perfume line– something Sarah jessica Parker has been doing for years.
It’s refreshing to see “older” women managing to make ridiculous amounts of money in Hollywood still. Now if only the concept would catch on more often!

Songbird Susan Boyle is set to make her acting debut, in the second season of Glee, according toRyan Murphy. Murphy, a creator of the Fox musical comedy series, said at the Television Critics Association press tour on Monday that she’ll appear in a Christmas episode as a high school lunch lady (that’s kind of dead-on casting). Also, Murphy says Paul McCartney has offered the show his music. “It came out of blue in a package, handwritten, and it had two CDs and it said ‘Hi Ryan, I hope you will consider some of these songs for ‘Glee’ … I had heard that he is a fan of the show. I was gob-smacked … so of course we are going to do something with him,” Murphy said.

Jeff Goldblum won’t be returning to Law & Order: Criminal Intent as Detective Zach Nichols, if it is renewed for a 10th season, Variety reported Tuesday.  Goldblum’s contract was up anyway, and according to his rep, he decided to leave instead of renegotiate because of the uncertainty “surrounding the show’s future.”
Goldblum came on board as the replacement for Chris Noth in the seventh season. He went on to being the lead featured male detective after Vincent D’Onofrio decided to quit last Fall, along with Kathryn Erbe and Eric Bogosian as Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio and Saffron Burrows joined the cast with Goldblum.  The ninth season of “Law and Order: Criminal Intent” aired its finale July 6 on USA; the tenth season is still not confirmed. There is a rumor that D’Onofrio has asked to come back if the tenth season will be the final one.

There have been a number of big names from the entertainment field tossed around as potential new judges on “American Idol,” to replace Simon Cowell. Nigel Lythgoe’s return to ‘American Idol’ as an executive producer is said to have precipitated the sweep of judges, with Ellen DeGeneres dropping out first.  It seems likely Kara DioGuardi is also gone too, while Randy Jackson’s future seems uncertain. Elton John, Usher, Justin Timberlake, Jessica Simpson, Chris Isaak, Harry Connick Jr. were allegedly among celebrity music industry folks under consideration. Of late Jennifer Lopez and possibly Steven Tyler have been the rumored front runners. It seems pretty certain though unofficial that J.Lo will be an ‘American Idol’ judge, but word is the job only became hers after several big-name celebrities passed on the opportunity.  According to Rob Shuter at Popeater, producers first asked Elton John and Barry Manilow, who have mentored contestants in prior seasons, but both declined preferring to focus on performing.  I think Elton would have been an awesome judge but I can certainly see why he might not really be interested.  An interesting side note is that after Elton and Barry turned them down Jessica Simpson was considered along with J.Lo, as Idol producers started looking at celebrities whose careers were basically stuck in neutral. Jessica supposedly was made a firm offer to be a judge, but her dad-manager Joe Simpson lived up to his reputation, gumming up the works. Idol execs reportedly found it impossible to negotiate a deal with papa Joe, and moved on.  I have said before I think Jessica would have been a poor choice anyway.  I am not so sure whether it’s a smart move for Steven Tyler to take the judging gig if it has been offered, but it might be interesting to see what he brings to the table.
