Jesse James Issues Statement Apologizing to Sandra Bullock and His Children

Posted by Jo bansi in ,

jesse james - sandra bullock
The ballad of Jesse James and Sandra Bullock has just gotten a little bit sadder. It’s been previously reported today that Bullock has moved out of the family house just days before the story broke that a heavily tattooed model named Michelle “Bombshell” McGee, claims to have slept with James while the actress was away in Atlanta filming ‘The Blind Side’ last year. McGee claim to had an 11-month affair with James, but tried to excuse that by saying she believed Sandra’s man was no longer married. With all this spilling out over the last 24 hrs, James has broken his silence. In his statement that follows, James does not come right out and admit having affair but does confess to poor judgment and takes responsibility for the embarrassment to his wife and three kids:
“The vast majority of the allegations reported are untrue and unfounded. Beyond that, I will not dignify these private matters with any further public comment.
There is only one person to blame for this whole situation, and that is me. It’s because of my poor judgment that I deserve everything bad that is coming my way.
This has caused my wife and kids pain and embarrassment beyond comprehension and I am extremely saddened to have brought this on them. I am truly very sorry for the grief I have caused them. I hope one day they can find it in their hearts to forgive me.”
I always thought Jesse was an odd match for Sandra, and I am sure she is crushed right now. But what do you think, is Sandra over and done with Jesse or will she give him a chance?

Richest Man In The World : Carlos Slim Helu

Carlos Slim
Forbes' list of the world's richest men of 2010 is released this morning.
This year, Mexican telecommunications magnate Carlos Slim Helu dethroned Bill Gates and Warren Buffett to nab the No. 1 spot on Forbes' 2010 list of world billionaires.
Helú's fortune is estimated to be $53.5 billion - up $18.5 billion in 12 months. Microsoft founder Bill Gates, now worth $53 billion, is ranked second in the world.
A Lebanese descendant, Carlos Slim's rising fortune has caused a controversy because it has been amassed in a developing country where per capita income does not surpass $14,500 a year, and nearly 17% of the population lives in poverty. He has been criticized as an "evil monopolist", - for his telecom company Telmex's control of 90% of the Mexican landline telephone market. Slim's wealth is the equivalent of roughly 2% of Mexico's annual economic output.
See 2010 Forbes Top 10 Billionaire List:
  1. Carlos Slim Helu (Mexico) - $53.5 billion
  2. William Gates III (USA) - $53 billion
  3. Warren Buffett (USA) - $47 billion
  4. Mukesh Ambani (India) - $29 billion
  5. Lakshmi Mittal (India) - $28.7 billion
  6. Lawrence Ellison (USA) - $28 billion
  7. Bernard Arnault (France) - $27.5 billion
  8. Eike Batista (Brazil) - $27 billion
  9. Amancio Ortega (Spain) - $25 billion
  10. Karl Albrecht (Germany) - $23.5 billion

Johnny Weir banned from pro skate tour, not ‘family friendly’ another way of saying ‘too gay’?

Johnny Weir banned from pro skate tour, not ‘family friendly’ another way of saying ‘too gay’?

johnny weir fur
After enduring insults from sports commentators at the 2010 Winter Olympics, skating star Johnny Weir is now facing a new snub inspired by his choice of attire – He’s apparently been banned by the Stars on Ice tour.
The 25-year old skater finished sixth in Vancouver with a new personal best score of 238.87 points. But even this, plus the huge public acclaim and affection inspired by his skills are apparently not enough to convince those in charge of the tour to add him to the show.
The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) claim they have learned from a source inside the organization that the sponsors – which include Smuckers and IMG Entertainment – refused to allow the 3-time US National Champion and two-time Olympian to be part of the tour because he is ‘not family friendly.’
But Johnny has managed to take this new affront in his stride. A statement on his official website puts a quite different spin on his absence;
“I have decided it is not advantageous to partake in the World Championships in Torino, Italy.”  he writes. “While I understand the importance of competition, I feel that a short break would be beneficial to me…. I can assure everyone I will be re-energized after I’ve had time to rework my technique.”
No mention of grievance or upset. No lawsuits or threats of revenge. The man’s been insulted – again – and he still answers with class.
But Johnny’s army of fans are not taking the news quite so well – The Huff Post says an online petition has already been started, urging those in charge of the tour to add Johnny to the cast and dispel all the rumors.
5,300 people have already signed.
The tour itself – featuring Olympic gold medalist, Evan Lysacek – begins on April 1st in Fort Myers, Florida and covers 40 cities across the United States, closing in Portland Oregon on May 30th.
So who here would vote for Johnny to join?…

Dr. Drew Making Play To Get DMX Out of Jail to Appear on Next Season of “Celebrity Rehab”

Posted by Jo bansi in ,

mug_dmx[1] Rapper DMX who is back in trouble again after being arrested for allegedly violating his probation by using drugs, might have another option besides returning to jail. The star whose real name is Earl Simmons,  was jailed in 2009 on charges of drug possession, animal cruelty and theft, stemming from multiple arrests in 2008, and had served about half of his 18-month supervised probation when he was booked last week for a drug related parole violation.  DMX’s lawyer Gary Jenkins said at the time of his latest arrest: “He’s been battling addiction for some time and he’s in need of treatment.”
With that call for help,  DMX is now the #1 desired pick to appear on the next season of Celebrity Rehab.”  DMX’s attorney, Gary Jenkins, tells TMZ, the “Rehab” team is considering sending someone to DMX’s next court hearing to speak with the judge — just like Dr. Drew did with Jessica Sierra from “American Idol” — to try and get him placed in their care instead of being locked up. The rapper is currently being held on no bond and is expected back in court March 16.

Katherine Heigl Perhaps Gone for Good from ‘Grey’s’ After No-Show?

Posted by Jo bansi in ,

Katherine Heigl and nancyAfter Katherine Heigl failed to show up as scheduled to return to the ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ set March 1, after three months of maternity leave, it looks like ABC has had enough.  Sources claim Katherine, 31, who adopted a baby girl (photo right) with special needs from Korea named Nancy Leigh with husband Josh Kelley, has quit the show after six years to focus on her film career.  She was supposed to be on set to begin work on the five remaining episodes of the season.
Although we have heard this before, sources told EW’s Michael Ausiello that ‘Anatomy’ creator Shonda Rhimes has agreed to release Heigl, who plays Dr Izzie Stevens in the hit medical drama,  from her contract. ABC Studios and Heigl’s reps will then hash out a final exit agreement.  As for Heigl’s movie career, a trailer for her new action comedy with Ashton Kutcher, Killers, are out.  Killers, features Heigl’s character falling for Ashton’s, who turns out to live a secret double life as a hitman, and becomes his willing but bumbling sidekick.

Activist Arrested for Threatening Elton John’s Life Over Jesus is Gay Comment

Posted by Jo bansi in ,

Elton John
An anti-abortion activist who is also a gubernatorial candidate has been arrested after allegedly making threats on Elton John’s life. Neal Horsley  was taken into custody on Wednesday, March 10, by the police fugitive squad and members of the U.S. Marshal’s office and charged with making terrorist threats, criminal defamation and using the Internet to disseminate threats, according to the Atlanta-Journal Constitution newspaper.
Horsley, who founded the Creator’s Rights Party and plans to run for governor of Georgia, was outraged when the singer suggested Jesus Christ was gay in a Parade magazine interview in February. In the interview last month John said that he thought Jesus was a “compassionate, super-intelligent gay man who understood human problems.” So in response Horsley posted a video Feb. 28 on YouTube, where he held a sign “Elton John must die,” in front of a building where he thought John has a condo. “What Elton John has done is desecrated the image of the Lord Jesus Christ, blasphemed the Lord Jesus Christ,” Horsley said in the video.  John’s publicist, Fran Curtis, confirmed that John has an Atlanta apartment but declined further comment.  Horsely has released on bail and ordered to remain in the custody of his son, Nathanael Horsley, who also serves as his father’s lawyer.

Twin Sister Kept Elin Nordegren From Divorcing Tiger Woods

Twin Sister Kept Elin Nordegren From Divorcing Tiger Woods

Tiger Woods and ElinIf you believe the lore that Elin Nordegren started swinging a golf club at  her husband Tiger Woods, when she confirmed he was having an affair with Rachel Uchitel, then you have no doubt she has quite a temper. A new report confirms that once Elin realized the scope of Tigers cheating she didn’t hesitate to hire a lawyer and wanted to immediately file divorce papers. But sources close to the situation tell RadarOnline.com that it was her twin sister Josefin who convinced her sister to wait. Elin and Josefin are extremely close emotionally and Josefin was able to persuade her to wait and not file the divorce papers while her emotions were raw, the sources revealed.
“She was devastated when the first mistress was revealed but when she realized he had betrayed her throughout the marriage she was furious and she wanted out. “But Josefin has been by her side through ever crisis, and at every key moment during all of this.”
When Elin traveled to Gentle Path in Hattiesburg, Mississippi to participate in Tiger’s rehab therapy for a week, it was Josefin who came and stayed with the children. Josefin stressed the importance of doing what was best for the children but never tried to tell Elin her feelings were wrong or her emotions clouded, sources told Radar. Now the two have been spotted in recent days hugging and kissing outside, and it is reported that Elin is preparing to move back home with Tiger.

American Idol Episode Recap: The Top 10 Women Perform

Posted by Jo bansi in , , , , , ,

Before American Idol's 10 female semifinalists took the stage Wednesday night, one big question was on viewers' minds: Would early judge/fan favorite Crystal Bowersox perform? After Bowersox's trip to the hospital Tuesday caused a switcheroo in this week's Idol schedule, the singer/songwriter — calling herself a "tough cookie" — did indeed perform, and she appeared to be in decent health. But how did she and the rest of the pack fare vocally? Let's find out.
I know what I'm about to write is going to earn hatred from a percentage of readers, but I have not become rabid with Bowersox fever. I'm glad she's feeling better, but the producers rearranged the show for her. And then, after a better-than-last-week-but-still-not-mindblowing performance, the judges piled on praise both after her performance and during several other contestants' critiques. Call it Adam Lambert Syndrome. I think she's talented, and, yes, a front-runner, but the judges need to be careful about handing out the trophy just yet.
Crystal Bowersox, "Long As I Can See the Light" Crystal played to her strengths, and I am glad she lost the harmonica. I was even more proud of her for calling Simon out on his comments last week about the subway, since he of the two-story trailer probably hasn't been near a subway platform in years. As I said above, I liked this much more than the Alanis Morrisette song, and her great voice was fully on display. But all I heard out of the judges was sympathy for her situation rather than criticism of her performance.
Judging the Judges:  C Simon and Kara thought she went to a new level and proved what kind of artist she is. I think she's been this artist all along and wonder why they just now took notice.
Haeley Vaughn, "The Climb"Oh, boy. Kudos to Haeley for listening to the judges and going back to a song that seemingly should be in her wheelhouse. However, she made a mess of this one. He phrasing was awkward and distraction, and her voice sat on top of the music, where it squelched annoyingly until the end. Kara hit the nail on the head: She's not old enough to be in the competition yet.
Judging the Judges:  B Randy and Ellen agree that Haeley didn't connect with the song. Kara tells her she needs a year to work out her voice like a muscle in order to become more consistent.
Lacey Brown, "Kiss Me"Even though I hate agreeing with Kara, this was a good song choice for Lacey. She was indescribably better than the previous week, but I have a problem with her "vocal stylings," particularly the way she pronounces words for effect when she sings. It's so inconsistent and makes her sound out of tune even when she's not.
Judging the Judges:  B+ It was a bit karaoke, but Kara said she did show more of herself as an artist and played better to the tone of her voice.

Katie Stevens, "Girl Put Your Records On"
If there was another horse the Idol machine was backing right out of the gate, it was Katie. Unfortunately, she has not yet lived up to her promise. Like Haeley, she took the judges' advice to sing a song more suited to her age, but she sang it in the wrong key. So much of the song was in her lower register, which she had lots of trouble controlling. It got much better when she went to the higher notes, but there was far too little of that.
Judging the Judges:  A Randy wanted her to take on bigger songs, and Kara said that radio hits don't always translate to good performance songs.
Didi Benami, "Lean on Me"Though she hasn't had a real wow moment, Didi is one of my favorite contestants. And I really thought she sang the song well. I do agree with Randy that she's not nearly soulful enough to have the connection to the song, but she was in tune, which is something several gals can't say. (Also, the judges criticized her for sounding like the other contestants with similar voices, and this was definitely something none of them were doing.) I think the judges were a little needlessly harsh, though I would like to see Didi behind her guitar again.
Judging the Judges:  C+ Simon said she was screechy and Kara called it karaoke. Randy said a soul song points out more of what she can't do than highlighting what she can.
Michelle Delamor, "With Arms Wide Open"This performance was brutal. I'm glad she didn't pick another big diva song, but I don't think taking a power ballad and turning it into a bid diva song is all that risky. She seemed tentative about some of the big notes she added to the arrangement, and it really lost control from the midsection on. Randy and Ellen rightly note that what seemed good in theory didn't really translate.
Judging the Judges:  D Kara said it was her favorite performance from Michelle. Good, I was getting concerned with how much I agreed with Kara so far this season.
Lilly Scott, "A Change Is Gonna Come"This song has been done a zillion times on Idol, and no one ever comes close to the original. Lilly managed to do something that was enjoyable because it was so different, I wasn't even trying to compare it to the original. I'm still not convinced I want to hear her sing each week, but she should definitely stick around a while.
Judging the Judges:  B- Points docked for Kara being over the top ("I was riveted; I couldn't wait to see what you were going to do next") and Simon for saying Crystal was better. (She was, but there was no need for it here.)
Katelyn Epperly, 'The Scientist"I haven't made my mind up about Katelyn, but I really dug this version of a Coldplay song I've heard until I'm sick of it. That last note wasn't quite there, but this was the last thing I expected from Katelyn, and I think she pulled it off brilliantly. But, as Kara noted, Katelyn does seem to genre-jump, which could work against her eventually.
Judging the Judges:  D Slow doesn't equal boring, unless you're Randy and Ellen. It was very well sung and not worthy of the sleepy complaints. If you want a snoozefest, rewatch Randy's and Ellen's embarrassingly repetitive critiques.
Paige Miles, "Walk Away"I like this sound for Paige, but I do think she could take on some songs that would really let her show what her voice is truly capable of. It was fun and in tune, but judging by my inability to say much else about it, it probably was a little forgettable.
Judging the Judges:  C Kara, who wrote the song, decided to tell Paige to stop smiling when singing her angry breakup song. Puh-lease, lady.
Siobhan Magnus, "Think"Without a doubt the surprise of the night. She took on Aretha Franklin and somehow came out on the other side looking brilliant. She killed that crazy high note at the end, even if some of the earlier notes in her upper register were a little squeaky. Still, this quirky little nugget has an impressive set of pipes, which the judges couldn't possibly doubt, right?
Judging the Judges:  C Well, they were mostly positive, though Ellen made some weird joke about a Snuggie. (I really have started tuning her out already.) I became furious when, at the end of the show, Simon again told Ryan that Crystal was the best. Siobhan deserved at least a little shoutout.
Are you glad Crystal returned in time to perform? What did you think of the show overall? Who are you voting for, and who should go home?
