Katherine Heigl Perhaps Gone for Good from ‘Grey’s’ After No-Show?  

After Katherine Heigl failed to show up as scheduled to return to the ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ set March 1, after three months of maternity leave, it looks like ABC has had enough.  Sources claim Katherine, 31, who adopted a baby girl (photo right) with special needs from Korea named Nancy Leigh with husband Josh Kelley, has quit the show after six years to focus on her film career.  She was supposed to be on set to begin work on the five remaining episodes of the season.
Although we have heard this before, sources told EW’s Michael Ausiello that ‘Anatomy’ creator Shonda Rhimes has agreed to release Heigl, who plays Dr Izzie Stevens in the hit medical drama,  from her contract. ABC Studios and Heigl’s reps will then hash out a final exit agreement.  As for Heigl’s movie career, a trailer for her new action comedy with Ashton Kutcher, Killers, are out.  Killers, features Heigl’s character falling for Ashton’s, who turns out to live a secret double life as a hitman, and becomes his willing but bumbling sidekick.
